designed in Siemens NX6
So far assembly of this model consist of 20 parts (more will come as model get more details):
This is unfinished 3D model of Tower Crane, I designed as much as I could just by looking at images of tower cranes on internet. I over dimensioned most of model, as at first i had idea to try to make it in plastic. Most of cable work is unfinished as I do not have enough info about cable system. If anyone have informations I need to finish this design, please contact me.
NOTE: In this design I didn't use real profile dimensions for steel beams, but in .prt files profile dimensions are editable in sketches.

NOTE: Design is based ONLY on photos of tower cranes i found on internet so do not take it seriously.

ReplyDeletehave you done the mesh and simulation on this tower crane? Need some help with that.. thanks
ReplyDeleteI Thank you much for the model. but I can't get the crane climbing section to open either.
ReplyDeletethank you spiderfingers,
ReplyDeletehmmmm... nobody had problems so far... what software are you using?
Hello!
ReplyDeleteHow to download&
Zdravo Ivane,
ReplyDeletePrvo cestitam na ovako dobro uradjenom poslu. Vizuelno to izgleda odlicno.
Pozdrav
Milomir

hey ivan,
ReplyDeleteCan I use your model as a reference to create my crane and use it as a presentation purpose ?
hey,
Deleteyes you can use it Nijas,
but be aware that this is design based on images, i did no real calculations so this is pure visual model.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteWould you have the manufacturer and name of that crane? Or is it a made-up one?
Thanks.
just a made up design from images I found on internet. I have nobody to give me verified info about any real crane so I can't make "real one".
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteCounter weight segment needs to be broken down in the description. (i.e.counter jib, counter weight, etc.)
