Air tanks of trisonic wind tunnel

Model of air reservoir of MTI supersonic tunnel. To get better understanding of tanks size look of human models near tanks. Air tanks have 2600 m3 volume and are charged to 20 bar pressure while testing. Air is emptied from tanks in time from 6 s to 60 s and it run from 0.2 to 4  Mach number speed.

This balance is designed to meet specific wind tunnel testing requirements. It is one of many internal balances developed in MTI (The Military Technical Institute) for using in aerodynamics laboratory.

In this project my assignment was to make fully constrained assembly and all production and assembly draftings and documentation. This balance is developed in The Military Technical Institute  as response to the specific testing wind tunnel requirements.
